about the amazing sidewalk sale i had?
i was in desperate need of some extra cash for an upcoming trip to san francisco i was planning, and also weirded out at the fact that i had way too many american apparel clothes. so i came up with up idea of getting rid of all the shit i dont wear anymore. including some vintage tee's,vintage boots,an old prada bag i got stole from my mom years ago,and some old vogue and butt magazines.
the creep behind me in the picture above stayed at my sale for 2 hours and read through every butt magazine i had. here's a little piece of our conversation.
sean:do you just want to buy the magazines there only a dollar
creepy middle aged man:ahhhhh no, im alright.
sean:i'll sell them to you two for a dollar
creep middle aged man:aww sorry honey i cant take these home
he then made an attempt to flirt with me thinking me cutting him a deal was an invitation to put the moves on me.but i wasn't having it, and then that made me to believe he was some closeted homo with an addiction to black twink porn with two kids and wife waiting for him at home...... im sorry my imagination takes me to some weird places sometimes anyway
my sale started off surprisingly good yet interesting. two cast members from the newest series of 90210 came by and bought a shit ton of things including a vintage black velvet betsey johnson dress, and a black fringe motorcylce jacket i never got a chance to wear. gillian zinser has to be the cuttest girl, here's a better picture of her below
that day i just could not get a break from the weirdo's, now the man above could not stand still and didnt know the importance of personal space. i just let him take anything he wanted for 10 bucks. so he took a beenie and "the complete guide to witchcraft" and ran away. no he litterally ran away !
overall it was a great turn out, i stayed out from 12am til it got really hot and made $89.00, afterwards took the left overs down to wasteland and collected and extra $70.00 and i feel pretty damn good incase you were wondering.
